Update Stroke of Midnight en Twilight Bridge

Door ziektes, vakanties en andere stress is het alweer een tijdje geleden dat ik een update heb gegeven. Maar inmiddels ben ik weer lekker bezig geweest met Stroke of Midnight. Ik kon de verleiding niet weerstaan, en ben aan het over-1 gedeelte begonnen. Eerst de riem, en daarna de linker bloemenstrook. Het wordt echt mooi, maar het is wel een gepriegel, en het eist een hoop van je concentratie. Hierdoor kon het gebeuren dat ik wel wilde borduren, maar te moe was om me zo te concentreren. Om op zulke momenten toch te kunnen borduren, wissel ik het af met Twilight Bridge.

Hier heb ik de cottage af, en een groot gedeelte van de bloem border is al passend gemaakt aan het (1 steek lager uitgekomen) huisje.

PS, een update van mijn vakantie werkjes volgt als mijn ouders mijn werk meenemen als ze terugkomen (ik ben vergeten foto’s te maken voor ik naar huis ging)

Update Stroke of Midnight and Twilight Bridge
Due to illnesses, holidays and other stress, it has been a while since I’ve given an update. But I’m back on track with Stroke of Midnight. I couldn’t resist temptation, so I started on the over-1 part, first the waistline, and after that the left hand band of flowers in her dress. It’s turning out beautifully, but it is very fiddly and it demands a lot of concentration. Because of this it sometimes happens that I want to stitch, but that I am too tired for that level of concentration. So I alternate with Twilight Bridge so I can stitch when I want to. So now I finished the cottage, and a large section of the flower border has been adjusted to fit the cottage (which is one stitch lower than it should be).

PS, I’ll give an update of my holiday work if my parents bring back my work when they come back (I forgot to take pictures before going home)
