I can stitch again!
After 4 months my physiotherapist finally told me I could
try to cautiously stitch again. But how do you stitch cautiously? So I just
started stitching hoping my body would tell me when to stop. And luckily my
body didn’t tell me anything, so I’ve made quite a few borders. I had my annual
two week holiday, so I made a big dent in the backlog. I’m still a few weeks
behind, but I don’t think that’s going to take long.
I’ve started a second column, because I wouldn’t be able to
fit all the borders in one column on my fabric. And once I had the two columns
about even, I started checking for each new week (2 borders) which column is
shortest. And I’ll continue like that till the end of December. And then I have
to come up with an idea for the space between the two columns. I’m thinking of
a nice alphabet.
