Moeilijk leesbaar patroon

Difficult to read pattern
This week was all about my parents visiting, but even so I managed to do some work on my Gyr Falcon. I've been wondering for a while why this project is moving so slowly: it's ordinary cross stitch with very little confetti, dark blue is easy to do with good lighting and it will be a beautiful bird.

The problem is the pattern. The symbols used in it all have the same "colour" and look very similar to me. Because of this, the symbol I'm working on at any one time doesn't jump out at me.

  1. Hi Angelique, here is a little trick to help you in this situation: choose which color you will stitch next and color the symbols with a yellow highlighter. This way, when you glance at the chart the symbols will ''jump out'' at you.
When you are done with that color, just go over the yellow highlighting with another color, such as pink or green to mark it as done.
It takes a little bit more time, but it makes things easier and there is less chance of missing a few stitches here and there.
    Hope this helps,
    Maud
