Mission accomplished

"My family is a sheltering tree
Strong branches to comfort me
There's no place that I'd rather be
Than with my loving family"

Last Christmas, when I was searching for "Silk Wysteria" on the web-site from Victoria's Sampler, I couldn't resist snooping around. At some point I stumbled on the Heirloom Family Sampler. When I read the text on it, I was hooked: I just had to stitch this for Mum and Dad! And all and everything had to be put on hold for it. Two and a half weeks ago the pattern and threads arrived, and 15 days later it was finished. Today I delivered it to Mum and Dad, they went all quiet. I only had one request: when they didn't want it anymore, I want it back. Their answer: that only happens when we're dead! Mission accomplished, I'd say.
