Langzaam

Heel langzaam komt de energie om te borduren weer terug. De problemen met mijn zoon zijn nog niet opgelost (lang verhaal: hij zit in groep 8 en heeft geen school om naar toe te gaan), maar er is op dit moment weinig dat ik eraan kan doen. Dus ik moet het “gewoon” van me afzetten. En hoe beter me dat lukt, hoe beter ik me kan concentreren op mijn borduurtjes. En dat moet ook wel, want ik heb vreselijk mooie en leuke dingen om aan te werken.

Zoals deel twee van Around the world in 80 stitches. Ik heb de eerste tulp af, en omdat het al weer een tijdje geleden is dat ik wat heb laten zien laat ik hem alvast zien.



Slowly
Real slowly I’m getting the energy to stitch back. The problems with my son haven’t been sorted yet (long story: he’s in his final year of primary school and doesn’t have a secondary school to go to), but there’s very little I can do about that right now. So I “just” have to let it not bother me. And the more I succeed in doing so, the better I can concentrate on my stitching. And I have to, because I have some gorgeous things to work on.

Like part two of Around the world in 80 stitches. I finished the first tulip, and since it has been a while since I’ve shown anything, I thought I wouldn’t wait for the second tulip to be finished and show you this one now.
